#408109 GE Specific Technical Trainers (GT,ST,MK VI, EE)
Granite Services International is seeking talented, enthusiastic and motivated Trainers to build successful relationships with our clients and employees.

We need Technical Instructors / Trainers in all disciplines GAS TURBINE, STEAM TURBINE, CONTROLS & ELECTRICAL.

Some positions are based at one training location and some are traveling, conducting training on site for customers.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering and/or Physical Sciences or High School Diploma/GED and at least 5 years of experience in an engineering field).
- Minimum of 3 years of HANDS-ON RECENT FIELD EXPERIENCE WITH PERFORMING STARTUP, RETROFIT, TROUBLESHOOTING, AND MAINTENANCE of GE products, HD GAS TURBINES, OR STEAM TURBINES, AND/OR GENERATOR & ELECTRICAL EXCITATION SYSTEMS.
- At least 2 additional years of experience implementing learning programs, including needs assessment, instructional design, content development and program reviews or experience as a borrowed Field Engineer Instructor.
- Possess excellent communication skills and able to speak to an audience with a wide range of experience, read and write in English to convey technical concepts to business, technical and technical writing personnel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project Management Applications, and online applications
- Ability to develop, build and maintain lab stations, training documentation and web based training modules to support courses.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Energy Learning Center Instructor is responsible for development and delivery of training curriculum for Gas Turbine or Steam Turbine or Controls or Electrical serving the Power Services Field Engineering teams.
Deliver entry level, advanced and refresher training courses on GE turbine and generator equipment.
Work closely with clients, Energy Learning Center Team (ELC), GT Design and Product Engineering teams to deliver current, cutting edge technology training to meet business fulfillment needs.
Integrate Field Engineering e-tools, reporting, service notice and other business processes into the Controls programs.
- Self Starter with great oral and written communication skills.
- Technically savvy, with in-depth hands-on GE related equipment
- Ability to learn and apply new technology courses.
- Function as a technical subject matter expert in areas of expertise.
- Appraise performance of program participants.
- Support Customer training classes as necessary.

DESIRED
- Field Engineering Program (FEP) Graduate.
- Training Experience (customer or internal).
- Recent installation experience with GE Equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively (oral and written).
- Flexible, willing to learn and teach new technologies.
- Organized, team player.
- Knowledge of HDGT/ST, MK V, VI controls, Electrical (EX2100) products.
- Salary commensurate with experience.
