Self-Publishing Virtual Book Tour: Mastering Your Destiny by Chuks ...

As an author in this economy, you have to come up with creative ways to market a self-published book. While book tours are a great way to connect with your readers, they aren?t the most affordable method of promotion. However, technology has made it possible for an alternative.

Take note from self-publishing?Outskirts Press author, Chuks Maduadi, who is taking his latest book,?Mastering Your Destiny, on tour ? a virtual book tour, that is. He will be featured on several blogs over the weeks and months ahead so keep your eyes peeled to learn more about him and his book.

Luckily for us, Chuks was kind enough to answer a few questions as the tour was getting started so that we can give you a sneak peek into the mind of the creator of Mastering Your Destiny.

Mastering Your Destiny book cover

OP: Tell us a little bit about Mastering Your Destiny. What is it about?

CM: Mastering Your Destiny is about understanding the principles of living a successful life and applying the same principles to the fulfillment of one?s ordained purpose. It is about conquering the generational evil of surrendering life to chance; becoming the best that one can be by implementation of the power of choice and a deliberate application of self through hard work, determination, persistence and perseverance. It is about living life to the maximum and contributing one?s part toward making the world a better place.

OP: Why did you decide to write this story?

CM: People?s potentials have been stifled by negative beliefs which are surprisingly propagated by respected persons in society. Both the educated and uneducated still accept the error that whatever becomes of you in life is your destiny. You are merely an actor playing out the script that has been handed to you by God, and no measure of determination can change the order. The sole purpose of Mastering Your Destiny is to liberate the reader from all limiting thoughts, beliefs and actions that either restrict his freedom of expression or diminish his drive for the great things he can accomplish.

OP: What types of readers would be interested in this story?

CM: Mastering Your Destiny is not intended for a particular age group or class of people, but for the successful and the non-successful, leaders and followers, teachers and students; for those who have reached the apex of their careers and wish to go over the top; for everyone who is tired of the routine average life and desires to raise the bar in order to become the best that he or she is destined to be; for beginners in the game of life who desire to make it to the top, but do not want to go the way of trial and error; for potential achievers, who are discouraged by the failures of the past and need extra motivation to be able to start all over or keep going.

OP:?What is special about your book? ?What differentiates it from other books in the same category?

CM: Most books in the same category treat the subject of success as though success in life depends entirely on human effort. They over-emphasize the power of free will to the ridiculous exclusion of God from the equations of life. Many others downplay the unpredictable aspect of human life and, thus, fail to equip their readers against uncertainties. Mastering Your Destiny closes the gap existing in these books by providing a balance between human effort and the God factor in fulfilling destiny. It punctures the reader?s reality that destiny is an invisible force beyond his control. Readers will be liberated from their fear of the unknown, and empowered to become the master of their circumstances rather than surrender the control of their lives to the manipulative force of fate. While esteeming the need to leave lasting marks on the sands of time, Mastering Your Destiny encourages the reader to strive for success that outlives the grave.

OP: Have you published any other books? Do you plan to publish more?

CM: Mastering Your Destiny is the first of a series of books to come; books that promise to change for good the complexion of the present world system and people?s ways of thinking.

OP: Thanks for your time, Chuks! We look forward to learning more about you as you visit other bloggers!
