Barcode Group and Jaguar Energy Drink were one of several localbusinesses and companies to have attended SIAL; the premier foods exhibition in Europe, held last month in Paris. Dubai Exports, the export promotion agency of the Department of Economic Development - Government of Dubai, had led the UAE mission to SIAL along with the Ministry of Foreign Trade (MoFT).
Jaguar Energy Drink and Barcode General Trading LLC representing Dubai's energy beverage sector participated within the Dubai delegation to SIAL in Paris, France between October 21st to October 25ththis year with the export promotion agency of the Department of Economic Development leading the representatives in promoting local companies, and enhancing their export capabilities.
With food products constituting two per cent of UAE's imports Barcode General Trading LLC has taken a leader position in promoting the UAE's local expertise in food services specifically the energy beverage sector.
The exhibition is regarded as the premiere European food industry event and offers an impressive and broad range of food and beverage product offerings bringing together over 19 clearly identified sectors. Nearly 140,000 food industry professionals from as many as 100 countries attended the five day event this year with Jaguar Energy Drink - Barcode's leading offering - Jaguar Energy Drink - making a strong showing at the exhibition as part of the UAE's delegation.
As part of Barcode's strategy, the imperative was to highlight Dubai's capabilities in the food industry and to apply a solid exporting service in the energy drink sector from Dubai to other countries with a focus on growing exports to markets such as North America, Europe, Latin America and North Africa following the shifting dynamics of the world's food market.
Participation at SIAL as part of Dubai Exports' Delegation was a vital component of Barcode's plans for exporting Jaguar Energy Drink from Dubai to new countries as it offered an incomparable opportunity to connect with potential customers in new markets allowing Jaguar Energy Drink to compete successfully in the global export market.
With plans to open production facilities in Dubai in the next two years, Barcode and its premiere distributor in Dubai and the UAE have begun talks to locate appropriate space and facilities to support the increased demand on Jaguar Energy Drink with the aim to centralize production and export in Dubai in support of developing local manufacturing into a dominant economic activity.
Barcode's participation at SIAL as part of the Dubai Exports' delegation was marked by a visit and meeting with the UAE's ambassador to France.
